The Search Marketing Group was founded in 2009 as a response to the growing need for ethical search marketing. We aim to produce the best possible results for each and every one of our clients; this is reflected in our peerless customer support and superb client retention levels.

We have grown from two staff, to six full time and three contract staff and are looking to grow further this year – we are a young vibrant company with a work hard, play hard approach. We are committed to Ulverston and the South Lakes and have just moved into a brand new, purpose built office in the Marl Business Park. We have free parking and a subsidised canteen on site and the office is very easily walkable to the town centre.
Our portfolio includes major currency brokers, professional service firms and online retailers - we only operate at the premium end of the market and have never lost a customer. The next few years are very important for growth and we are keen to speak to bright, ambitious people who have a long term view and are keen to develop. The recruitment division of the business operates as a high end recruiter of staff for the sectors mentioned opposite, with the full marketing support of the parent company. The division is already profitable and we are looking to grow this section quite aggressively.

Sales Person (New Media Sales)
Sales Person (New Media Sales) x3 - NOT CURRENTLY RECRUITING
Roles available in Ulverston for confident and professional sales people needed to sell new media solutions. The role will be to develop new accounts via telephone sales, securing good long term contracts in return for excellent ongoing commissions - earnings potential is in the hands of the successful applicant and is uncapped. This role has genuine career potential and could lead to a senior roles quickly for the right person.
- Sales experience a distinct advantage although not essential
- Desire to work in a good quality NON call centre environment and be truly consultative
- Full training given and help in closing deals in the early stages (commission unaffected)

Researchers
Researchers - LONDON OFFICE
We are seeking a confident and professional researcher to add support our London Sales team.
Your main role will be to collate information about potential target markets and generate leads and opportunities for our Senior Sales staff.
You will also be expected to support our Admin team in their monthly reporting cycle, including analytics reports and proposal data. This is an excellent role for a new graduate seeking an opportunity to get close to the commercial heart of the business.
Whilst not being directly responsible for sales pipeline or portfolio management, the expectation is that you would progress into a Sales role within 6 months and, therefore, a degree of sales acumen would be highly desirable. Further than this, however, it is imperative that you have a strong sense of integrity and self-respect, coupled with a strong work ethic and a desire to improve.
You will receive a competitive basic salary, with the opportunity for substantial OTE as you develop within the organisation.
